The goal of Critical Crossroads is to raise awareness of the link between literacy and young people’s involvement in the criminal justice system and to engage stakeholders, practitioners and policy makers in a dialogue regarding promising program practices, current research and policies.

    June 2, 2012 – Ottawa Safe Communities Ottawa is hosting a conference for youth aged 15 - 24, focusing on community and workplace safety and wellness.  The theme is "Just Say It: Having a Voice Means Making the Right Choice".  Youth have an opportunity to connect with some of Ottawa's employers and community safety groups, participate in team-building activities, and receive safety training.
