March 8, 2014 – Toronto The South Asian Women's Action Collective, in honour of International Women's Day, is hosting a celebration to honour South Asian women in our communities. The event will include a panel discussion, bazaar, activities, fun and food!
March 15, 2014 The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration welcomes nominations for the Newcomer Champion Award in three categories: Celebrating Inclusion and Diversity, Promoting Cultural Heritage, and Integration of Immigrants. Nomination deadline is March 15.

March 31, 2014 The Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) and the Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) are proud to sponsor the OTIP Teaching Awards. There are three categories for the awards: elementary school teacher, secondary school teacher and beginning teacher in the first five years of teaching. A teacher can be nominated by anyone - teachers, students, parents, or general public.

April 8, 2014 – Toronto Mark your calendars for the Toronto Catholic Parent Involvement Committee's conference on April 8, 2014. This year's theme is "Parents Engaged in 21st Century Education”, focusing on parent engagement strategies for supporting student achievement and well-being in the context of a rapidly changing and complex world.

April 10, 2014 Children’s Mental Health Ontario encourages youth to create and submit short videos to the Change the View Contest. The videos should show how we all can take the stigma out of child and youth mental health issues.
