Every year, the stars come out to support public education – see the photos from last year. All proceeds will help People for Education protect the arts, ESL, libraries, and special education in Ontario public schools.

We’ve already lined up some amazing Canadian artists who are donating their time and talent to support public education:

• Gordon Pinsent will premiere his new album with musicians Travis Good from The Sadies and Greg Keelor from Blue Rodeo
• Michael Healey will read from his controversial play (one major Toronto theatre thought it was too hot to handle)
• Molly Rankin will sing
• Daniel MacIvor will auction off a house in southern France, front row indoor tickets to the Santa Claus parade and a spectacular Persian carpet
• The winners of the National Glee competition will sing and dance
