Jan Sugerman
Bookkeeper
Jan Sugerman is the mother of two children, through whom she learned about the importance of our public education system. Both are now graduates of Ontario universities, and one child is continuing on to higher degrees. Jan went from earning a BA and working as a research assistant in clinical rheumatology to getting an Ontario Diploma in Horticulture, after which she worked as a gardener. To her surprise and delight, Jan has ended up a bookkeeper at People for Education, working with terrific people in support of public education.
