Kathy Bradden

Kathy Bradden is a founding member of People for Education. Over the years, she has ensured that constructive, respectful dialogue and clear communication are at the core of People for Education’s work. She was the first editor and publisher of the People for Education newsletter and she has chaired the Board of Directors since 2010.

When asked why she helped to found the organization, Kathy said, “I had, and still have, a fundamental belief in public education as a public good. Fully publicly funded education is the foundation of a civil society.”

Kathy, who studied at St. Michael’s College, also serves on the Board of Directors of The Children’s Storefront, the oldest parent-child drop-in centre in Ontario.
