SmartSAVER

SmartSAVER is a non-profit community project that helps families plan and save for their children’s education after high school. Low-income families can get free money for college and university by opening an RESP savings plan for their child, because the government gives families with a low income the Canada Learning Bond. The bond goes right into your child’s RESP even if you don’t have money to contribute yourself. The government will also add money to whatever you can save. SmartSAVER does not sell RESPs or investments. Information on their website is available in 14 languages.
