Student Census 2006, Grades 7-12 System Overview

Students (every student from grades 7 through 12 at 289 schools) in the Toronto District School Board were asked highly personal — but confidential — questions about their race, sexuality, home life and disabilities on a written questionnaire done in-class in 2006, as well their feelings about teachers, school, safety and how welcome they feel in class, in a bid to improve schools.
