Students First! National Panel on First Nation Education

Students First! National Panel on First Nation Elementary and Secondary Education

The National Panel was created by the Government of Canada, in collaboration with the Assembly of First Nations, to lead an engagement process on how to improve the education of First Nation children who live on reserve. We have been asked to explore ideas and provide advice on the development of options, including legislation.

We are keenly aware that we need to draw on the wisdom of First Nation leaders, parents, students, elders, teachers, provinces and all Canadians who want a better education for First Nation children.

We welcome all perspectives on this important topic, and look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.
