Nancy Robertson and Margaret Atwood - volunteers at Telling Tales Out of School

We rely on our amazing volunteers to do everything from stuffing envelopes to helping with our research initiatives. Find out more about what you can do to help!

Our volunteers work from home or in our office, so it doesn’t matter where you live in Ontario or whether you have a little time or a lot — we’ll match your skills to a volunteer position.

Five great reasons to volunteer with People for Education

1.  Your work will have an impact! People for Education connects with over 10,000 people across Ontario who care about public education.

2.  You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in a variety of projects. Our staff have a broad range of talents, including web development, writing, research, survey creation, fundraising and policy analysis.

3.  People for Education is a well-respected charitable organization. The experience you gain with us will be a good addition to your resume, and you can connect with people who may be looking for the skills you offer.

4.  The People for Education office is a fun, vibrant and occasionally chaotic (in the best sense of the word!) place to work.

5.  Most important, if you come to stuff envelopes, we’ll feed you!
